Birdhouse Ranch is a multi-ethnic family owned and operated cattle ranch located in the sunny hills of Livermore, California.

This is where we come together and truly reconnect, spend time as a family, whether its for a birthday or to tackle some chores it is our home away from home.

The ranch sits on just over 240 acres of undeveloped land where we raise a heritage breed of cattle that are free to roam and graze. Ever mindful of keeping this land wild and beautiful, we carefully selected a breed of cow that is happy to eat shrubs and tougher grasses leaving native plants to thrive and flourish. These cows are grass fed and grass finished, never given any synthetic hormones or antibiotics

Our cattle are a smaller, self sufficient breed with a docile temperament called, Criollo. This breed originated in Spain and was brought to the Americas in the late 1400’s.
